THE STORY
Peek-a-boo captures the mystery and curiosity of watchful eyes hidden behind the frame of a tilted window. Three feline faces peer out in layered succession each with a different expression, each a silent observer of the world outside. Their playful yet penetrating stares blur the line between innocence and intrigue.
The surrounding foliage and geometric framing enhance the sense of secrecy, as though the cats are both participants in a game and guardians of a hidden truth. The work playfully invites the viewer into a dialogue about perception: Who is watching whom, and what lies beyond the glass?
With its bold colors, surreal composition, and enigmatic gazes, Peek-a-boo transforms a simple childhood game into a meditation on observation, curiosity, and the unseen layers of reality.
