THE STORY
Rhinobra unites the raw strength of the rhinoceros with the surreal presence of a human figure topped with a vintage television set, its screen revealing a single unblinking eye. The rhino, an enduring symbol of resilience and survival, contrasts with the fragile, manipulated gaze of the TV-headed figure an allegory of how media filters and distorts our understanding of power and truth.
The crimson sky in the background evokes urgency and conflict, setting the stage for a narrative of dominance, resistance, and the tension between nature and technology. The juxtaposition of the rhino’s grounded, primal force with the artificial lens of the human-machine hybrid creates a haunting reflection of modern life.
With its surreal imagery and layered symbolism, Rhinobra invites viewers to consider where true strength lies—in the raw, untamed forces of the natural world or in the curated, controlled visions fed to us by society.
